Submit a short film

Instructions

After you have filled out the submission form, you will receive a confirmation email providing you with our shipping address. Unless you are shipping your short film from outside of Canada, please use a Canada Post rather than a courrier service such as FedEx. The confirmation email will also contain web links that will allow you to change your submission information as well as submit other productions. Note that if your production is not yet finished, you can give us a temporary description which can later be changed.

The deadline date for the reception of the short films is August 1st 2005.
There is no submission fee to enter the festival.

Please note that the submitted materials will NOT BE RETURNED. Do not send us your masters.

I understand that Megalomedia Productions reserves the right to distribute The Film (in whole or in part) for promotional use within Megalomedia's press kits. I also authorize Megalomedia to use and distribute The film's synopsis and screenshots within it's promotional material. The Filmmaker also certifies that it owns all the necessary rights for the public broadcasting of The Film and that Megalomedia Productions cannot be held responsible on any account for the contents of the featured productions. Please note that material submitted to the Festival will not be returned.
Prizes:	By clicking this box, I accept that to be eligible for the Glitch Fest and Glitch Fast prizes, the Filmmaker must accept the following contract: I authorize Megalomedia to distribute The Film on the Glitch website (www.glitchfest.com). I also authorize Megalomedia to distribute The Film within one limited-issue compilation. The Glitch Montreal Short Film Festival is a non profit event whose primary objective is to promote and distribute short films to a large viewing public. The event is organized by a team comprised entirely of volunteers. All funds collected by the sale of DVD compilations are reinvested in the promotion and distribution of the films, the maintenance of the website and the festival?s organization. Note: The filmmakers whose films have been selected will be contacted directly to determine whether or not they wish to be eligible for the prizes. Contracts authorizing the distribution of the film will be distributed to those who wish to be eligible.
